After pricing hundreds of weddings and events - and making every pricing mistake possible - I simply got sick and tired of overbuying, underquoting and feeling guilty for charging for my work. I realized that the standard “recipe-up” method doesn’t match how my clients actually buy.
Although we’ve had a few, most clients don’t come with open budgets and flexible scopes. They come with a fixed number and big (sometimes unrealistic) expectations. So I built a system that works with that reality, not against it.
